The Association Expert's Director of Client Education was quoted extensively in the June 2012 issue of Associations Now magazine, which is published by the American Society of Association Executives/Centre for Association Leadership. In the print edition, her comments appear in the article entitled “Get An Outside
Perspective,” by Nancy Mann Jackson. The article deals with hiring CEOs and EDs from outside of the association sector and how to help a newly hired CEO/ED make a successful transition to his/her new position.

Along with long-time friend and colleague Tammy M. Ferguson, the Association Expert's Director of Client Education co-authored the article Characteristics of 21st Century Leaders in eceLink magazine, which is published by the Association of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario. This article focuses on some of the characteristics of effective leaders now need to have and offers strategies to those involved in Early Learning and Child Care on how to strengthen their own leadership abilities.
